In the early Phanerozoic, increased atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations have been linked to driving or amplifying increased global temperatures.[20] Royer et al. 2004[21] found a climate sensitivity for the rest of the Phanerozoic which was calculated to be similar to today’s modern range of values.<\/p>\n
