Tinc ganes de repetir l&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia i tornar-hi a passar un dia sencer, observant la gent, escoltant els m\u00fasics, menjant als bars que hi ha sota terra\u00a0 &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Sempre em va agradar un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=O_NrmR3ac3o\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anunci de la cocacola<\/a> on un vag\u00f3 es convertia en una festa amb la m\u00fasica de Chihuahua. I seria fant\u00e0stic tenir a Barcelona alguna cosa semblant a la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=e92g5OhsLrg\">festa dels vintage cars<\/a> del NYC subway.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/meumon.synology.me\/ephemeracat\/tf\/dc\/img\/Inferno\/P1040139.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"303\" height=\"227\" \/><\/p>\n<p>En algun moment cap al final d&#8217;una l\u00ednia anava sol al vag\u00f3.\u00a0 Imagino una hist\u00f2ria (potser ja se n&#8217;ha fet alguna pel\u00b7l\u00edcula) en qu\u00e8 en una situaci\u00f3 similar, el metro, en lloc d&#8217;acabar a una estaci\u00f3, s&#8217;endinsa per un ramal desconegut. Al cap de 10 minuts el passatger es comen\u00e7a a inquietar i aviat es troba\u00a0 recorrent estacions subterr\u00e0nies per un m\u00f3n diferent. De fet, \u00e9s una mica semblant al que faria un explorador de barris de Barcelona desconeguts.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/meumon.synology.me\/ephemeracat\/tf\/dc\/img\/Inferno\/P1040179.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"303\" height=\"227\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fins i tot, en una variant experimental de l&#8217;inferno,<br \/>\nels cercles infernals serien diferents estacions de metro. El visitant acompanyat del guia, baixaria per unes interminables escales mec\u00e0niques, amb anuncis dels turments al costat i pujaria a un vag\u00f3 de metro. Pel altaveus s&#8217;escoltaria: &#8220;propera parada &#8230; iracunds!&#8221;.<br \/>\nBaixaria i recorreria sales d&#8217;aquesta estaci\u00f3, que podrien ser una mena de Carceri de Piranesi. Acabada la visita esperaria el seg\u00fcent comboi, veuria baixar els condemnats per l&#8217;ira, i seguiria la l\u00ednia fins a la<br \/>\nparada dels her\u00e8tics.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/meumon.synology.me\/ephemeracat\/tf\/dc\/img\/Inferno\/P1040177.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Al metro hi llegeix molta gent. En alguns punts la gent fa bookcrossing i deixa llibres ja llegits per que se&#8217;ls emportin d&#8217;altres. Penso en tots els llibres que s&#8217;hi deuen haver llegit, novel\u00b7les, llibres de text, assaig &#8230;<br \/>\nTamb\u00e9 puc imaginar el metro, no com una via de comunicaci\u00f3 pels<br \/>\nespais de l&#8217;infern sin\u00f3 com una gran biblioteca, amb sales de lectura m\u00f2bils. Hi hauria 10 l\u00ednies segons la <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_Dewey_Decimal_classes\">classificaci\u00f3 decimal de Dewey<\/a>, i cada comboi a un subtema. Per exemple, un lector aniria a la l\u00ednia 1 per filosofia, o la 8 per literatura, i esperaria el tren 850 de literatura italiana. All\u00e0 trobaria el prestatge on hi ha Dante i s&#8217;hi asseuria fins a acabar-se&#8217;l. Com a curiositat, trobar\u00edem la literatura catalana juntament amb l&#8217;occit\u00e0, al nov\u00e8 vag\u00f3 (849), de la literatura francesa (840), i no pas al comboi de la literatura castellana (860).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Per \u00a0\u00faltim, no puc estar m\u00e9s d&#8217;acord amb el personatge del poeta Syme de Chesterton que, a &#8220;The man who was thursday&#8221; defensa la poesia del metro en contra d&#8217;un anarquista per a qui la poesia nom\u00e9s pot ser desordre. De la meva collita, modestament, hi afegiria que, el que \u00e9s interessant, o sublim, all\u00f2 pel qual val la pena fer un viatge, o dedicar-hi les vacances, no s\u00f3n nom\u00e9s les destinacions ex\u00f2tiques dels cat\u00e0legs d&#8217;aventura, els llocs que encap\u00e7alen les classificacions del tripadvisor, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 el que \u00e9s quotidi\u00e0. Em confesso un ferm admirador del projecte de Xavier de Maistre: ser capa\u00e7 d&#8217;emprendre un viatge de descoberta per les cambres i habitacions de casa.<\/p>\n<p>An artist is identical with an anarchist,&#8221; he cried. &#8220;You might transpose the words anywhere. An anarchist is an artist. The man who throws a bomb is an artist, because he prefers a great moment to everything. He sees how much more valuable is one burst of blazing light, one peal of perfect thunder, than the mere common bodies of a few shapeless policemen. If it were not so, the most poetical thing in the world would be the\u00a0 nderground Railway.&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"color: red;\">&#8220;So it is,&#8221; said Mr. Syme.<\/span><br \/>\n&#8220;Nonsense!&#8221; said Gregory, who was very rational when anyone else attempted paradox. &#8220;Why do all the clerks and navvies in the railway trains look so sad and tired, so very sad and tired? I will tell you. It is because they know that the train is going right. It is because they know that whatever place they have taken a ticket for that place they will reach. It is because after they have passed Sloane Square they know that the next station must be Victoria, and nothing but Victoria. Oh, their wild rapture! oh, their eyes like stars and their souls again in Eden, if the next station were unaccountably Baker Street!&#8221; &#8220;It is you who are unpoetical,&#8221; replied the poet Syme. &#8220;If what you say of clerks is true, they can only be as prosaic as your poetry. The rare, strange thing is to hit the mark; the gross, obvious thing is to miss it. We feel it is epical when man with one wild arrow strikes a distant bird. <span style=\"color: red;\">Is it not also epical when man with one wild engine strikes a distant station? Chaos is dull<\/span>; because in chaos the train might indeed go anywhere, to Baker Street or to Bagdad. But man is a<br \/>\nmagician, and his whole magic is in this, that he does say Victoria, and lo! it is Victoria. No, take your books of mere poetry and prose; let me read a time table, with tears of pride. Take your Byron, who commemorates the defeats of man; give me Bradshaw, who commemorates his<br \/>\nvictories.
