L&#8217;any 1930 Pius Font i Quer va crear el Jard\u00ed Bot\u00e0nic Hist\u00f2ric, a la pedrera de la Foixarda de Montju\u00efc. Aquest jard\u00ed va ser inaugurat el 17 de juliol de 1941. Va quedar afectat per la construcci\u00f3 d&#8217;accessos per als nous equipaments ol\u00edmpics i l&#8217;any 1986 fou tancat pels problemes d&#8217;estabilitat de les parets.
