Idea
Quan buscava una motxilla lleugera, vaig acabar explorant la idea de fer servir la tenda com a un contenidor que es plega i, amb unes corretges, pogués fer-la servir com a motxilla, incorporant l’estora integrada. Partint de la meva antiga tenda de travessa vaig mirar de trobar una estructura que s’aguantés sense necessitat de vents i piques. Aquí, el procés de disseny.
When I was looking for a light backpack, I turned to explore the idea of using the tent as container that can be folded and, with the appropriate straps, work as a backpack, integrating the sleeping mat. After my old hiking tent, I tried to find a freestanding structure that didn’t need ropes and stakes. Here the design process.

Test
Vaig estrenar la tenda en una travessa de Núria a Ripoll. Dormia al costat del Ter a uns 1.600 metres. A la nit plovia una mica i vaig comprovar que la tenda aguantava bé. L’endemà al matí va diluviar i vaig posar a prova la capelina. Vaig fer una segona sortida al Cadí i vaig passar la nit prop del refugi del Niu de l’Àliga a 2.537 m. A la foto es veu la tenda sota un fort vent, potser 70 km/h. Es vincla però l’estructura aguanta.
A hike from Núria to Ripoll is my first test with the tent. I slept near the Ter river at 1,600 m. There was some rain and i could check that it was waterproof. Next morning, deluge, and the rain poncho was OK. A second hike to Cadí takes me to a 2,527 m overnight near Refugi del Niu de l’àliga. The picture shows the tent under strong winds, I would guess 70 km/h. The structure bends under the wind but is resilient.
